With the holiday season coming up, TCGplayer had already hosted an in-person event at the office and they needed to offer gifts to their remote team.

In the past, TCGplayer found it difficult to gift physical gifts at scale, with varying levels of need and appreciation for those gifts. Finally, they wanted to maintain their unique brand identity and ensure their remote team members received a digital gift as part of a fun online event.

Solutions

Using Unwrapit's digital gifting platform, TCGplayer was able to send gifts to their remote team members throughout the US. They also leveraged Unwrapit's ability to customize their recipients' gifting experience and brand it in the TCGplayer style.

Results

TCGplayer sent out 199 digital gifts with personalized To/From cards, all with the unique TCGplayer branding.

They sent their employees a number of digital gifts that they could claim instantly. The unwrapping experience leveraged incredible engagement, with over 95% of recipients claiming gifts. In contrast, previous company-wide events would typically see a much lower engagement rate.

Overall, TCGplayer was able to create a unique and special experience for their remote employees that couldn't attend the local in-person event.
