Wellness as a Year-End Corporate Gift? You bet.

Unwrapit has been around long enough to anticipate the deluge of articles lamenting the excesses of conventional corporate gifting during the holiday season. We’ve seen them come out every year consistently for the past several years. (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020).

For this year’s exposé reporting on the unsustainable nature of traditional holiday gifting, we want to give journalists something more hopeful to write about, and at the same time, equip those responsible for launching their company’s year-end gifting campaign a compelling alternative to branded swag, boxes of cured meat, sox that don’t fit, and the like.

Over the next several months, we’ll be featuring our gift supply partners—all of whom share something incredible in common. Their gifts aren’t physical, don’t require shipping, and can’t end up in landfill. We’re starting this series with a focus on wellness.

Earlier this year, we had the privilege of being introduced to Mindfulness and Meditation based Coach, Lee Papa. Lee is a Las Vegas-based mindfulness adviser who has played a critical role in bringing mindfulness to the events industry. In 2015, she introduced her trademarked Mindfulness Lounge™ as a powerful add-on for attendees of large trade shows, educational conferences, and executive gatherings to quiet their minds and learn a self-care skill for ongoing benefit. With the pandemic, she refashioned the in-person Mindfulness Lounge™ to also work for virtual meetings with rave reviews.

After several weeks of brainstorming and iterations, Unwrapit is proud to announce that we’ve added Lee’s mindfulness experiences as gifts that can now be given through Unwrapit to any number of customers, prospects, employees, or event attendees.

Starting with one of the most novel gifts we can now offer, companies and organizations can book Lee to record a branded meditation that’s 10, 20, or 30 minutes in length. Imagine this: Instead of sending clients a box of sugar-packed carbs or a bouquet of artificially brightly-hued flowers, you can offer them a meditation that your company has gone out of its way to produce for the benefit of their mental, emotional and physical health. The message that it sends is powerful. “We know the holidays are a stressful time, especially after everything we have all just lived through. We want you to take some time for yourself to ground in mindfulness. And so here’s a recording from all of us to help you get through this most joyous but also most stressful time of year.”

Lee will also be offering a range of other experiences that promote mindfulness through Unwrapit. Specifically, companies can purchase blocks of 1-on-1 mindfulness based coaching sessions that individual employees, clients, or event attendees can redeem. She will also be offering digital downloads of her album of meditations, “Journey with Guided Meditation, Emotional Healing Through Mindful Awareness” and a 10 day audio course, “Connect Your Inner & Outer World Mindfully.” Finally, for companies that want to reveal the Mindfulness Lounge™ as a group gift, they can also do that through Unwrapit.

In addition to Wellbeing, Mindfulness and Meditation Training through Lee Papa, Unwrapit also includes SpaFinder vouchers as a gift option that promotes wellness.
